A TRADITION OF GLOBAL AWARENESS

Tashkent’s School №50 has a tradition like many of its fellow academies, but it is not an annual theatre performance, a sports festival or a weekly ritual. School №50’s tradition, and perhaps its specialty, is MUN conferences. This passion was first instilled by the United Nations Information Office (UNO) in 2008 and has remained strong ever since. When students entered the school’s concert hall on the 1^st of February 2012 to participate in its fourth MUN conference, it was clear that they felt a sense of honor and pride by taking part in such a respected event.
