The “UN in Uzbekistan” newsletter is a joint step of the UN Inter-Agency Communications Task Force towards a wider dissemination of information about the United Nations in Uzbekistan. “UN in Uzbekistan” newsletter is aimed to bring the efforts of UN agencies on improving people’s lives more visibly to public audience and partners. The newsletter will be published on a quarterly basis covering various topics on economic reforms, health and education, protecting the environment and combating against AIDS and illicit drug trafficking. The newsletter will also cover Millennium Development Goals implementation in Uzbekistan. This time we present its December 2009 issue.
