UN agencies, international organizations bilateral and multilateral partners play important roles in supporting and coordinating the process of policy development, implementing action plans, as well as monitoring and evaluation of nutrition programs.

UN Theme Group on Nutrition is aimed to promote establishment of a government multisectoral body on food and nutrition. It also target to establish a mechanism between UN organizations involved in food and nutrition to facilitate exchange and coordination and to support the joint implementation of development programs. The group facilitates to provide recommendations/responses to government on the issues of food and nutrition.
