Short description / mission:

The MDG Youth Network in Uzbekistan does various activities to promote and to realize the MDGs. With the first initiatives of students and the support of the United nations Office in Uzbekistan, the MDG Youth Network was created and functions now as a tool to empower local young people in accelerating the moments of achieving the MDGs in Uzbekistan. Nowadays volunteers are preparing and delivering peer-to-peer presentations at schools, universities, youth groups and orphanages as well as they try to bring in their practical contributions by doing youth led action projects around the country, and thus also promoting voluntarism and community service spirit
